Carolyn Meub

2012 White House Champion of Change

In 2012 Carolyn Meub, CEO of Pure Water for the World, was honored by the White House as a Champion of Change.

Caring Friends, Inc. has partnered with Pure Water for the World (PWW) because of their best practices. After visits with Carolyn Meub in Houston and after a trip to Haiti inspecting 5 PWW schools and their biosand filter factory, it was clear that PWW was a due-diligence partner on many fronts.

In Honduras, under her leadership about 20,0000 families now have access to clean drinking water. In Haiti, more than 1,200 schools have hygiene education curriculums and clean water programs.

Carolyn Meub, a Rotarian in Vermont and an active member of the Episcopal Church, was honored as a Champion of Change for her humanitarianism and contributions to public service, aimed at improving people’s lives and making a better future around the globe.
