CHARACTER MATTERS Rewarding strong character traits!

Caring Friends provided a research stipend for a student working on a low cost, hi tech early cancer detection device. (OEDK is an engineering Design Lab for students at Rice)  

At Rice University in 2019, Caring Friends gave a “Friends In Deed”  $2500 competitive scholarship for a student’s outstanding community service.

A new 2019 Caring Friends partner: “Second Servings”  is an amazing non profit providing in kind food from galas, hotel events, restaurants and grocery stores to non profits like Spirit Key’s men residential center.

Children are rewarded for (1) Best Reader or (2) Most Improved Reader in their Class, or (3) for demonstrating an outstanding character quality.

To support good stewardship of donated resources, Caring Friends has monitored, and is monitoring, on site visits to more than a dozen relief distribution sites to determine what has been received…and equally important…what is now needed at those sites.
