The Caring Friends Good Reader Program honors students who are the Best Reader and the Most Improved Reader in many Houston at-risk classrooms.
The Good Reader Program gives a new scholastic book to the Best Reader and Most Improved Reader in each class.
In 2016-2017 13 schools participated in the Good Reader Program.
